Dr. Laxineta earned a B.S. in animal science from UC Davis in 1979. He graduated from UCD Veterinary School in 1983. Animal health care is a family affair as both his wife and daughter are UC Davis alumni in Small Animal Veterinary Medicine.

Since 1985 Dr. Laxineta has been in equine practice in Temecula Valley. He provides service accordingly regardless of whether his clients have one horse or a broodmare farm to manage. Dr. Laxineta has over 30 years of experience of equine health care from reproduction to lameness issues. His prognosis is given using both a
portable digital x-ray and ultrasound machine which allows most evaluations to be carried out on the farm which aids in giving a quick and accurate diagnosis.

Aside from equine healthcare, being a father of three well established children, and married to his bride for over 30 years, Marc is also a passionate and avid photographer. His works include everything from astronomy to underwater, around the world, and everything in between. His equine photography has also been featured on the cover of Horse & Rider magazine.
